A place for study, for inspiration, for self-discovery The Science of Mind Archives contains a magnificent collection of historical New Thought items.

It includes historical artifacts of Ernest Holmes, such as photographs, poetry, class and lecture tapes and transcripts, radio talks, class curricula, manuscripts, letters, and videos as well as all of Holmes’ published books. Other items preserved in the Archives are a complete run of both Science of Mind and Creative Thought magazines, rare books by early New Thought writers, and meeting minutes

of the Religious Science organizations from their inception, for both International Centers for Spiritual Living, United Centers for Spiritual Living and now the unified Centers for Spiritual Living. Our Mission:
The Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization. The mission of the Archives is to connect spiritual seekers with the transformational power of the Science of Mind philosophy and its history. We accomplish our mission by:
1. Preserving, protecting, and presenting the teachings of Ernest Holmes and related New Thought leaders. This includes original source documents, artifacts, media, and other historical materials.
2. Creating and maintaining physical and digital libraries with an emphasis on the work of Ernest Holmes.
3. Sourcing and utilizing cutting-edge technology to expand the teachings of the Science of Mind philosophy globally.
4. Partnering with other New Thought leaders and organizations.
5. Encouraging the use of the Archives through inspired marketing and communications.
6. Celebrating the financial opulence and well-being of all by exponentially increasing the prosperity consciousness and abundance of the Archives and its supporters. Our Vision:
We are the Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation, a gateway to discovering, learning, and living our spiritual philosophy. Our vision is to be a treasury of inspiring and expanding resources for the growth and evolution of timeless wisdom and consciousness. Overview:
The archives and library is located in beautiful Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where we moved in June 2024 and now lease a space from our New Thought sister organization, Unity Village. This facility is secure and climate controlled to ensure our precious documents and artifacts are preserved. The library has approximately 10,000 volumes of new and rare books by metaphysical authors, great theologians, and popular self-help authors. It is one of the largest collections of metaphysical books in the United States. We are constantly adding materials today…for the history of tomorrow.

I’m wondering if you might be able to help. The Science of Mind Archives & Library Foundation is revealing a part-time Development Specialist (20 hours per week, can be remote) to support our fundraising efforts and donor stewardship programs. This special person will help us cultivate meaningful relationships with our supporters and ensure our donors feel genuinely appreciated, valued, and loved.

Happy 2 year anniversary of being at Unity Village to the Science of Mind Archives And Library Foundation!

Here is our Missouri Team staff, with JT Thurman who was the project lead of the move, with Dr. Marilyn Leo FaceTiming in. We ate cake and reminisced on how two years ago, two tractor trailers drove down I 70 from Golden, Colorado to Unity Village, Missouri and unloaded our precious hundred year history in this beautiful sacred space. Wow! It’s been an amazing journey. We’re so grateful for each and every person who prayed, donated, volunteered, or helped in anyway to make this dream a reality.

Excited to see what magic miracles continue to unfold for our beloved Archives!
