World Su***de Prevention Day reminds us that prevention begins with connection, compassion, and the courage to truly see one another. A text or phone call can open the door, but deeper connection is built through authenticity, vulnerability, loyalty, trust, and creating judgment-free spaces where people feel safe enough to say, “I’m not okay.”

Our presence matters. Our willingness to listen matters. When we move beyond simply checking in to genuinely showing up, we remind one another that no one has to carry their pain alone. Connection can create hope and hope can help save a life.

Eligible Sorors must be financially active on all levels and enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program.
