Our May Soaring Falcons were honored this morning for being open minded! Congratulations to each of you on receiving this award and thank you for being the ones we look when new ideas are presented! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

VSE’s Got Talent show was a huge success with performances ranging from joke tellers, electric guitarists, dancers, pianists, and singers to violinists, gymnasts,hula hoopers, artists, and even original story tellers! There is so much talent at VSE and we appreciate each of these students for being brave today, and sharing their amazing skills with the rest of us!

As our school year comes to a close, PTA would like to take a moment to recognize the 5 staff members retiring from Voy Spears this year. They have a combined 157 years of service and we just wanted to say thank you for all you have done to help shape the students at Voy, past and present. The impact of their work can be felt throughout our building and across our community. Their commitment, passion, and care have helped shape countless lives and have truly made Voy Spears Jr. Elementary a better place. 3rd grade spent time exploring Economics learning about running a business and making profit! Today they got to put their knowledge to the test. They designed, created and sold their products.

Students and staff were treated to a 10/10 performance of W***y Wonka and Chocolate Factory today! The actors/actresses, who are 4th and 5th grade VSE Theater Club students, have worked hard under the direction of Mrs. Swank-Cable, Ms. Abbott, Miss Arnold, and Mrs. Kovarik, every week, all year to make this production sweeter then all the chocolate in the world and they definitely succeeded! 🍫🎫

We will soon be saying, “Good-Bye” to our 5th grade Falcons and today was their first taste of life as a 6th grade Delta Woods Gator!

Walk, Run, Laugh, and Play- TODAY was the PERFECT Track and Field Day!!! Thank you, Mr. Audo, and all of the volunteers for a super fun day!! We appreciate you! 🥇🌟🥇

Third grade hit a home run at School Day at the K! ⚾️💙 They had so much fun cheering on the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium with our students. Lots of smiles, memories, and baseball fun made for an unforgettable day! 🧢🌭☀️
