Leeds Education Foundation A non-profit dedicated to putting money into the classrooms of Leeds City Scools Welcome to the Leeds Education Foundation page.

We will keep you updated with new and exciting things going on in Leeds City Schools! The LEF's main focus is raising money and seeking donations that we can put directly back in the the classrooms. Every year, thousands of dollars are raised and given away as grants to deserving teachers. These grants are a gift from the community to the schools. This is a volunteer board consisting of parents, grandparents, citizens, former teachers - all who are active in the community and find joy in putting their efforts into the schools.

Congratulations to Alexander Williamson, the very first recipient of The Kay Chasteen Educator’s Scholarship presented through the Leeds Education Foundation.

Created in honor of Kay Chasteen’s loving legacy, this scholarship was established to recognize and encourage future educators from Leeds High School as they pursue careers in education.

Kay’s impact on the Leeds community continues to be felt through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, encouragement, and dedication to others. Her legacy is one of compassion, service, and a genuine love for people and education.

We are incredibly honored to launch this scholarship in its inaugural year and look forward to continuing it each year in celebration of the lasting difference Kay made in our community.
