Backpack Buddies Backpack Buddies is a local non-profit dedicated to fighting childhood hunger in St. Clair County, Pell City & Leeds schools

Thank you Kiwanis Club of Pell City for your money donation to Pell City Backpack Buddies!!! Also, they coordinatored food drives for local businesses in our Pell City community to help us feed 391 food insecure students in our local schools 💛🖤. Thank you for your support!!!

☀️ FREE Summer Meals for Kids! ☀️

Leeds City Schools is participating in the USDA SUN Meals Summer Feeding Service Program to provide FREE nutritious breakfast and lunch meals for children age 18 and under this summer!

📍 Leeds Elementary School Cafeteria
📅 Monday–Friday | June 1 – July 17, 2026
🍳 Breakfast: 7:15–8:00AM
🥪 Lunch: 11AM–12PM

Meals must be consumed on campus.

Please help spread the word so families in our community can take advantage of this wonderful program!
