🌟 SAY HELLO TO OUR SEPTEMBER LEADERS OF THE MONTH! 🏆💚

These outstanding students were chosen by their teachers to represent their classrooms as leaders because they consistently showed Trustworthiness all month long! 👏✨

If you’re new to LPS, each month we celebrate these achievements with WAVE Day—one of our favorite school traditions! We invite families into the building to surprise their student, hold a special ceremony to honor their leadership, and cap things off with a parade through the hallways while their peers and teachers cheer them on! 🥳🎉

It was such a joyful day celebrating our September leaders! We’re already counting down to our next WAVE Day—this month, our focus is on students who show Compassion! 💖

We are grateful to Super Wings and Alpha Toys for their generous donation of Super Wings books and financial support for our students!

The donated books have been distributed to Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms, providing students with engaging stories that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, teamwork, and learning about the world around them. In addition to donating books, Super Wings and Alpha Toys provided a financial contribution to support learning opportunities at Leeds Primary School.

Special thanks to our school counselor, Mrs. White, for helping connect our school with this opportunity, which will allow more students to enjoy engaging stories and meaningful learning experiences.

Thank you, Super Wings and Alpha Toys, for investing in our students and supporting the work happening at Leeds Primary School!

🎃 THE LEGEND OF "PUMPKIN JACK" RETURNS TO LPS! 🪴✨

It’s an October tradition our Kindergarten and 1st-grade students look forward to all year long! In the library with Mrs. Reeves, our little learners just launched this year's Pumpkin Jack experiment!

Every fall, Mrs. Reeves places a pumpkin inside a pot, and over the course of the school year, our students observe science in action as Jack decomposes, rots, and eventually sprouts new pumpkin plants!

To get our students excited for the journey ahead, Mrs. Reeves showed them this awesome time-lapse video showing Jack’s full transformation from last year! Press play below to see the magic for yourself! 🎬🍿👇
