The Leeds Primary School PTO is incredibly grateful for Andrea Bennett and her tireless dedication to our school community. Andrea spends countless hours behind the scenes, ensuring every event runs smoothly and every student, teacher, and family feels supported.

Her selflessness, hard work, and unwavering commitment have made a real difference in the lives of our staff, students, and parents. We are so lucky to have her leading the PTO and helping make Leeds Primary School an even brighter place! 💛

We are thrilled and thankful to have Andrea back as PTO President next year—our community couldn’t ask for a stronger, kinder leader.

🏆 Introducing your 2026 Leeds City Schools Teacher of the Year: Ms. Carla Meloni!

Today at the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, Mr. Moore made the official announcement, and we could not be more thrilled! 🌟

Ms. Meloni’s story is the definition of a lifelong calling. Since she was a young girl walking the halls of Leeds Elementary School, she knew she was meant to be an educator. Fast forward to today: she has spent 23 years shaping the minds of our littlest learners, with the last 8 years dedicated to our kindergarteners at Leeds Primary School.

Ms. Meloni is the embodiment of what it means to be a "Greenie". She is kind, intentional, steadfast, and a true servant leader to her students and their families.

From a Leeds student to our District Teacher of the Year—your legacy is officially legendary, Ms. Meloni! Thank you for pouring your heart into our community.

As the year comes to a close, the PTO wants to take a moment to celebrate the incredible LPS community. This year, we’ve had the joy of supporting our amazing staff, cheering on our talented students, and partnering with parents to make school life even brighter.

From celebrating our staff to lending a helping hand in classrooms, our goal has always been to strengthen the connections that make our school so special. We’re grateful for the collaboration, energy, and dedication from every corner of our community.

We wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week in the best way—celebrating our amazing educators with personalized jerseys made just for them! 🎉🏈🍎

From the classroom to the hallway, our teachers show up every single day with heart, patience, and dedication—and it was such a joy to end the week by recognizing each of them in a fun and meaningful way.

Thank you to our incredible staff for everything you do to support, inspire, and uplift our students. You truly make our school feel like a team. 💙👏

🌮🎉 Teacher Appreciation Week Fiesta! 🎉🌮

Yesterday we spiced things up for our amazing teachers with a delicious Mexican lunch fiesta! 🌶️💃 From tacos to chips & queso, we loved celebrating the incredible staff who fill our school with heart, dedication, and positivity every single day. ❤️
