The High School is excited to introduce our newest staff member, Teddy the therapy dog! Teddy is a Bernese Mountain Dog who shares an office with Ms. Smith, one of the high school's counselors. Teddy has been busy getting to know our students and staff and spreading smiles, snuggles, and comfort around the building. He was even lucky enough to visit with our friends from East Primary when they were at the high school a few weeks ago! Teddy is happy to be the second therapy dog to work at Kiski Area School District, and loves coming to the high school!

On Wednesday, November 30, the Cavalier Singers performed in the Highlands Rotary Club Annual Christmas Concert at Highlands. Choruses from Springdale, Burrell, Freeport and Highlands also attended.

The Cast has been working hard under the direction of Kiski Alumni Kaylee Hansberry. Miss Hansberry's vast theater background shines in the plays that she directs. She attended Seton Hill University with a B.F.A in Musical Theater and worked with the Civic LIght Opera. Currently she is the Assistant Costume Director for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater.

The Play That Goes Wrong is a farcical murder mystery, a play within a play: After benefitting from a large and sudden inheritance, the inept and accident-prone Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society embark on producing an ambitious 1920s murder mystery. They are delighted that neither casting issues nor technical hitches currently stand in their way. However, hilarious disaster ensues and the cast start to crack under the pressure, but can they get the production back on track before the final curtain falls?
