BRIDGE Joins the Peace Torch Community for Seven Minutes of World Peace

Today, BRIDGE will join our local Peace Torch community and people around the globe for Seven Minutes of World Peace.

🕘 September 21 | 9:00–9:07 AM

We will gather in shared silence, reflection, prayer, and collective intention for peace, justice, healing, and our common humanity.

BRIDGE CEO and Founding Director Gwendolyn VanSant with civil-rights leader Wray Gunn after they received the International Peace Run Torch-Bearer Award together in 2023.

The award placed them within an international lineage of community peacemakers honored for uplifting others and working toward a more just and peaceful world.

Let us all be torch bearers for peace.

One more step in solidarity & placemaking at the Solidarity Commons with our Solidarity Artist -in-Residence Fidel Moreno sharing with our BRIDGE community the sacred indigenous art & practice of building a sweatlodge on our tipi ground for International Day of Peace.

Join us tomorrow Sunday 9/20 to Learn about the process with the team and our first healing round that happened today 9/19.

9/20 1-5 PM. Rain or Shine. Fifth Annual Fish fry with Sister to Sister Momma Lo, Macedonia, Ariane, Stephanie and Louidia; peace talks with Solidarity artist fellow & community partners; joining in solidarity in a community of practice and more. Proceeds will support Macedonia Baptist Church anniversary and BRIDGE programs.
