Little Learners Children's Center Little Learners Children’s Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Little Learners is licensed by the State of CT to serve 44 children ages 6 weeks to 12 yrs old and follows all policy recommendations of the Department of Public Health. We are committed to providing the highest level of safety, care and cognitive development. We believe that children should learn through their own discovery with child centered classrooms that promote hands on activities, discus

sion, and critical thinking . Learning is inquiry based allowing children to connect their learning to the real world. A safe, nurturing, positive environment is created through a commitment to continued education and a culture of open minded thinking that provides developmentally appropriate learning strategies and respect for all people who enter our facility.

Our favorite part of growing veggies in the garden is being able to enjoy what we make out of them! Our first veggie we got to pick was a zucchini and yesterday our preschoolers made some delicious zucchini brownies and got to enjoy them today! They loved them and we can’t wait to make more foods from what we have grown!

…why did the chicken cross the road? To come to school of course! Thank you to one of our wonderful family for taking the time to chase a chicken around a coop, put them in their car and bring them to our pre-k class to visit for farm week! It was super cool and informative!
