🏀💚🤍 IT'S OFFICIAL! WELCOME BACK, COACH LADNER! 🤍💚🏀

Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang! 🐎

Rapides High School is excited to announce that Coach Ladner is returning to lead our Lady Mustangs Basketball Program!

Coach Ladner left Rapides High in 2012 to continue his career at Poland Junior High. After enjoying a few years of retirement, he's decided it's time to get back on the court!

And what better place to make his return than his alma mater—Rapides High School!

We're excited to have Coach Ladner back in green and white and look forward to a great basketball season!

🏀 WELCOME HOME, COACH LADNER! 💚🤍

Superintendent Jeff Powell visited Rapides High today and stopped by Mrs. Monroe’s JAG classroom. During his visit, he joined students in completing the True Colors Personality Test, an activity that helps students identify their personality traits and better understand themselves and others.

Mr. Powell also spoke with students about their plans after high school and the importance of making informed decisions about their futures.

Thank you, Mr. Powell, for spending time with our JAG students!

💚🤍 Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day! 🤍💚

Today we want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our amazing Rapides High custodial team — Bill Pearson, Tessa NesSmith, and Nicki Smith! 🧹✨

These three work hard every day behind the scenes to keep Rapides High clean, safe, and running smoothly. So much of what they do may go unnoticed, but their hard work makes a difference for our students, faculty, and staff each and every day.

Now, anyone who knows them knows they aren’t exactly fans of having their pictures taken 😂📸... so we decided to have a little fun with their photo this year! 🎨🐎

Bill, Tessa, and Nicki, we appreciate everything you do for Rapides High School. Thank you for taking care of our campus and our Mustang family! 💚🤍

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day!
