Our beginners are doing so well this year, we invited them to march the Lecanto High HoCo Parade with our advanced band - we had a rehearsal today, unfortunately the rain kept us inside. Tomorrow's parade is postponed to next week, but we will be there! 80+ STRONG!

💚💛 Lecanto Middle School is an A School! 💛💚

Today we celebrate an incredible accomplishment made possible by our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and community partners.

This year’s Mission Possible theme reminded us that when we work together with purpose, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence, great things happen.

While we’re proud of earning an A, our true mission has always been much bigger than a letter grade. Every day, we strive to prepare students with the academic skills, confidence, and character they need to be successful in high school and beyond. Through strong relationships, high-quality instruction, advanced coursework, high school credit opportunities, and industry certifications, we are committed to opening doors for every Panther’s future.

As we celebrate this achievement, we’re already looking ahead.

🚀 2026–2027: Level Up!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. We can’t wait to welcome our Panthers back as we continue building a culture where clarity creates trust, consistency builds culture, and excellence is for everyone, every day.

Welcoming in the next generation of musicians! 5th graders from across the district came to visit Lecanto Middle School for tours and to see a snapshot of all LMS has to offer! The band welcomed them off the bus and played a short concert for them all at the end. Excited for next year!

Today was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.

A huge thank you to the Citrus County Education Foundation for putting together such a meaningful event and giving our students this opportunity!

Our middle school band students showed up with focus, energy, and professionalism—we are so proud of their dedication and growth.

One of the most special moments of the day was getting to perform alongside the Lecanto High School band. We didn’t even know they would be there, and it just so happened we had learned one of the same pieces—so we got to play together! It was an incredible experience for our students to see the full journey of where they are now and what they can become in High School!

Moments like this can’t be planned any better. 🥳

So proud of this group - GO PANTHERS! 💚🎶

7am on a Saturday!! 🥳🥳 Now that, is dedication! So proud of our band!
