⛏️🏝️ Minecraft Club is officially underway!

For Week 1 of our 8-Week Island Challenge, students jumped into Creative Mode and began transforming their islands by designing their very own Island Home Base! 🏠

Each build needed a bedroom, storage area, secret feature, and something that could be spotted from far away — but everything else was completely up to their imagination!

This is only the beginning. Over the next eight weeks, these islands are going to become something incredible! 🌴🧱

🌳🧱 LEGO Jr. Club: TREEHOUSE EDITION! 🧱🌳

Things got a little… complicated at LEGO Jr. Club this week.

Professor Brick was unavailable due to some very important research involving unicorns in Pandora. 🦄🔬

We tried calling in Doctor Professor Bill Da Brick the Second Jr., but — to the surprise of absolutely no one — he got lost on the way to the school. Again. 🗺️🤦‍♂️

Thankfully, we were able to bring in renowned treehouse expert The Honorable Lumberjack Jack McStack Senior the Third! 🪓🌲

There was just one small problem…

Our expert treehouse builder has a crippling fear of heights. 😳

So naturally, he spent most of LEGO Jr. Club crawling everywhere. 😂

Despite our questionable choice of expert, our young builders got to work designing and constructing some AMAZING LEGO treehouses! 🌳🏠 From creative hideaways to towering treetop creations, their imaginations were in full swing!

Another successful LEGO Jr. Club adventure in the books! 🧱✨

Now we just need to figure out who is showing up next week… 👀

🤖💻 Learning to Use AI the Right Way!

Our Digital Production 101 students are diving into the world of Artificial Intelligence! Working in small groups, students are learning how to use AI as a tool for creativity, problem-solving, brainstorming, and learning — while also discussing the importance of using it responsibly and ethically.

AI is becoming an important part of our digital world, and we want our students to understand not only how to use it, but when and why to use it.

Great conversations, teamwork, and lots of creative thinking happening in DP101! 🚀

💙 8th Grade Community Project – Food Drive! 💙

As part of our IB program, our 8th grade students take on Community Projects that encourage them to make a positive impact beyond the classroom.

Two of our 8th grade students are organizing a Food Drive to benefit the Family Resource Center, helping provide much-needed items to local families in our community.

Please check out the flyer below for information on how you can help support their project and make a difference! 🥫❤️

Students can drop off food at the school or donate via the QR Code.

We are proud to see our students putting Service into action!

Fresh from his latest exciting adventure on Skull Island, the world-renowned Doctor Professor Bill Da Brick Jr. The Second made a triumphant return to LEGO Jr. Club!

Our young builders put their creativity to work designing their own prehistoric LEGO creations—and Doctor Professor Bill Da Brick Jr. The Second was on hand to offer his highly qualified expert guidance. 😂

Our Digital Production 101 students were busy creating today! 💻🎨

Students learned the basics of Canva while designing their own flyer for a Middle School Dance — putting their creativity and new design skills to work!

Those who finished early jumped right into their next challenge: coding their very first game! 🎮👾

Last Friday, our Digital STEM students kicked off their first challenge of the year with the Creator Card Challenge!

Students used Canva to design a card that showed off their personality, interests, and creativity — and they definitely delivered! It was a great way to start the year, learn a little more about each other, and put those digital design skills to work.

And, of course, no Digital STEM challenge would be complete without a little friendly competition! 😁

We’re off to a great start, and there are plenty more challenges ahead! 💻🎨🏆
