Panther Nation: Day 3 update. It truly cannot get any better for the Lecanto Panther F.F.A. Chapter. David Elias just won Grand Champion!! Quoting LHS instructor, Steve Richardson, “Our Lecanto “Dirtfarmers” just cleaned up the show week. I am so proud of them!” It is the Panther Way!

We would like to congratulate the Citrus County FFA members that have earned their State and American Degree

Florida FFA Announces State Degree
Candidates
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce the names of 350 students who have
submitted an application and have been selected as a candidate to receive the coveted State FFA
Degree. The State FFA Degree is the highest honor bestowed upon any regular member of the Florida
FFA Association. Each candidate will be recognized and will receive their degree on the main stage
during the 5th General Session of the 95th Florida FFA Convention and Expo at the Caribe Royale in
Orlando.

Florida FFA Announces American FFA
Degree Candidates
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce those students who have submitted an
application to receive the coveted American FFA Degree. The American FFA Degree is the highest honor
bestowed upon any regular member of the National FFA Organization. These applicants will be
forwarded on to the National FFA Organization for consideration as candidates for the American FFA
Degree. Each applicant will be recognized and given the opportunity to introduce themselves on the main
stage during the 95th Florida FFA Convention.

If you are interested in buying beef for your freezer by yourself or split with friends and helping 4H and FFA kids come on down to the Citrus County Fair steer auction tonight. We have 80 awesome steers weighing from 985lbs to 1525 lbs. You only pay for up to 1350 lbs so you can even get some FREE BEEF.
This year the grand and reserve steers were both over 1350 lbs.
Come to the auction and help out local kids.
Sale starts at 630pm tonight.
