CREST School Citrus Resources for Exceptional Students in Transition Children come from all over the county to attend CREST. Innovative programs.

CREST (Citrus Resources for Exceptional Students in Transition) is a center school for students with severe disabilities located in a rural district of Florida. The mission of CREST is to provide an enriching special day school environment in which all students achieve their potential. instruction, and curriculum are defining components of CREST. Students at CREST are classified as having an Intellectual Disability (InD) or an Emotional Behavioral Disability (EBD). Their ages range from birth to 22 years. Our students are challenged with autism, conduct disorder, cognitive, physical, speech and language disabilities. The programs we are implanting are giving our students an opportunity to succeed.

Ms. Ashley is an extremely hard working and versatile team member at CREST. She builds relationships with all students that she works with and always makes sure the staff around her are taken care of. She is a huge asset to the CREST school and family and we are very lucky to have her.

Ms. Amanda Trembley has recently stepped into a new role at CREST and has done an amazing job. She has helped new students at CREST feel welcomed and at home. Amanda works great with staff to keep everyone engaged and thriving. Amanda is an amazing teacher on our CREST staff.

Operation Appreciation is a platform for CREST staff and faculty to promote and support each other in the form of compliments, shoutouts, and kind words. A BIG thank you to the Citrus County Education Foundation for sponsoring the 1st Library Program!

We were thrilled to welcome our 1st special guest reader, Ms. Sunshine Arnold, who delighted our students with a reading of Pete the Cat and the Surprise Teacher.

Our students were engaged from beginning to end, answering questions and participating in the story. The best part? Each student received their very own copy of the book to take home and enjoy!
