B A Better Speaker

Like flowers and fruit must remain attached to their roots, we must remain firmly connected to Jesus through prayer and through His words of promise and instruction. In doing so, our life is a reflection of the ‘plant’ from which we stem — God, our maker and master, and Jesus our Savior.
When you remain firmly attached to Him, He supplies your every need, doing everything to make you the happiest person in the whole world.
He is so generous that His loving grace and blessings will spill over you so you can share them with others.

Dear God,
Thank You for supplying all I need. Please help me to remain in Jesus, heeding His words of promise and instruction today and always. Help me accomplish my full potential. In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.

If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

God never leaves us alone. He carries us through our doubts and holds us as we questioned Him. He loves us through our sins and doesn’t give up on us.
It’s easy to feel alone and doubt that God is with you. But God has said that He would never leave us, nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He loves us. We can trust that He is with us, even when we don’t feel Him or don’t know He’s there.
Jesus knocks on the doors of our hearts, waiting for us to let Him in. He longs to be our Friend and Savior, to make us clean, and prepare us to be with Him forever.
Invite Him in.

Dear God in heaven,
Thank You for Your love. Please come live in my heart, Lord Jesus. Help me to trust You and to build a strong, lasting relationship with You. In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.

It’s so easy to assume that you know all there is to know. But God invites you to set out and explore a world beyond your limited imagination, beyond your human frailties, to the uncharted territory of the divine.
What do you still have to discover about what you can accomplish? What areas of your character have yet to be conquered? Who in need have you yet to reach out and touch?

Dear God,
Forgive me for my tendency to think I can understand You. Thank You for including me in Your vast, eternal plan. You enrich my life in countless ways. I love You. In Christ Jesus’ name I pray,

Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

Teaching from years of practical experience, and as a college visiting professor at Xavier University and The University of North Florida, the foundational tips and successful fundamentals to being a better speaker.
Public speaking and presentation is a valuable tool in every area of life and business. An basic skill that is underestimated.

The fear of public speaking is the most common fear that prevents people from achieving their full potential in life and in business.
