• PANTHER ALERT Please join Lecanto Nation in congratulating Adrianna Miller on advancing to the FHSAA State Track Meet this Friday at the University of North Florida!

After battling through a long day filled with rain delays and field lighting issues, Adrianna showed incredible resilience, running her 2nd fastest time ever in the 400M Hurdles!

She will enter the State Meet as the 6th seed in Florida!

Accomplishments:
• 3× District Champion – 400M Hurdles
• 2× Regional Champion – 400M Hurdles
• 4.0 GPA

Adrianna continues to represent Lecanto High School with excellence both on the track and in the classroom. She models what achieving success for every Panther, every day represents!

We had an amazing day today on the campus of University of South Florida! Go Bulls!

Our 9th and 10th grade Pre-Diploma students had the opportunity to explore the campus, experience college life firsthand, and begin envisioning their future beyond high school. From walking the grounds to learning about programs and opportunities, it was a day full of inspiration and possibility.

Experiences like this help our students see what’s ahead and remind them that their goals are within reach. 🎓

Tonight’s LHS IB Banquet was a beautiful celebration of our IB Class of 2026. 💙💚💛💜

We honored graduates from both the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP), while also recognizing the incredible teachers who guided and supported them along the way.

Tonight was a reminder that IB is more than a program, it’s a family. We are so proud of our students and grateful for the educators who helped them get here. 🌍✨

Thank you, Cregg Dalton!

Today, Property Appraiser Cregg Dalton had the privilege of speaking to the incredible students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Lecanto High School.

Cregg shared his personal journey and how he got to where he is today, along with powerful insights into his leadership philosophy. He emphasized that true leadership is not about being perfect, but about growth, resilience, and accountability.

One of the key messages that resonated most was that failure and mistakes are part of the process. What matters is how you respond by owning your missteps, learning from them, and having the courage to try again.

He also encouraged students to remain committed to continuous learning, to always strive for personal growth, and to lead with compassion by showing genuine care for others.

The students are on a bright path toward future success, and several asked thoughtful and engaging questions. He was grateful for the invitation to speak to such an impressive group.
