Lexi and Lulu here at Lulu's Music Academy 🙋‍♀️🐰🎶 Lulu’s been telling me how much she loves it when our students talk to Jesus at the beginning of each lesson, so I thought why not give the kids at the studio a chance to pray for each other while they’re here? Make sure to tell your kiddo to write a prayer on one of our colorful pieces of paper before giving Lulu a treat at the end of their next lesson, or encourage them to take a prayer request home that’s been dropped in the jar! The whole idea is for students to pray for other students! Let’s teach our kids to build each other up both in music and in faith 💕 James 5:16

Wow. I could not have experienced a greater evening with my students at their debut recital!!! I am so proud of each and every performer, not just for their hard work and musical growth but for who they are becoming as they grow in their faith in Jesus and in confidence both on and off the stage! Thank you to every family featured through these kiddos, as well as the kiddos who weren’t able to perform this evening for allowing me the opportunity to invest in your children both musically and personally. They bring so much light and joy into my life! Thank you also to my family for supporting my dreams for Lulu's Music Academy to my in-laws- I couldn’t have done this without both of you!! Thank you Mike for building my stage and helping with decor/setup, and Mom for helping with setting up and running the entire evening! Thank you to my step dad for purchasing the lights! And to my dad for teaching me guitar as a child myself, enabling me to become a teacher as well later in life. Last but not least, thank you to my wonderful husband for all of your support from day one, and for the delicious BBQ you worked so hard on to feed all of our guests this evening! Feeling grateful 🫶✨🐰 PS- to my students, Lulu told me she is SO proud of all of you! 🐾

These three photos show the progression of the little girl who started playing guitar because she wanted to be like her dad, to the woman who plays guitar now to bring glory to Christ. When I bring students into my studio- I see them through the eyes of this little girl. I see children who are highly impressionable, curious, and more than capable of reaching their goals in music and even more so, in life. Lulus Music Academy, is so much more than an opportunity to raise up the next generation of musicians. For me- this small business is my way of serving the Lord to bring children up in His kingdom, and to help them discover, develop, and pursue the gifts God has given to them. I work with every student on building up their self confidence, showing them that they are deeply loved by God and therefore should love themselves.
