๐๐ STILTS, SMILES, & STREAM! โจ
Wow, what an absolutely incredible day we had last Thursday at Don Fox Park for our STREAM Celebration - International Folk Fest! ๐โค๏ธ
Our Family Resource Center is bursting with gratitude! A massive thank you to the City of Lebanon, TN - Government for hosting this unforgettable day, and to all of our amazing partners and sponsors who made it possible. ๐โจ
Here is a look at the magic we shared:
๐ซ๐ท Ooh la la! We were blown away by international folk dancers all the way from France who danced on stilts! ๐ฎ
๐ Free Eats & Treats! Through our Summer Feeding & Reading program, every single child received free meals, drinks, and snacks. ๐๐ง Plus, they got to "shop" our local library for free books to take home! ๐โจ
๐ญ Adults ate Free Too! A huge shoutout to Lebanon First United Methodist Church for treating the adults to free hot dogs, chips, and bottles of water! ๐ฝ๏ธโค๏ธ
๐ But Wait, There Was More! We bounced in bounce houses, painted rocks, visited a honey bee exhibit (with free honey sticks! ๐ฏ), and tasted fresh biscuits and chocolate gravy from a community cast iron skillet club! ๐ฅ๐
It was the ultimate celebration of Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STREAM) and our hearts are so full from seeing so many of our wonderful students, neighbors, and friends.
Thank you again to the City of Lebanon,Wilson Bank and Trust, Vulcan Materials, and every single partner, volunteer, and sponsor who poured love into our community. We are grateful for all who participated and attended! ๐โ๏ธ
