We're so proud of Maggie and what she has accomplished since leaving Project SEARCH.

This month’s Journeys to Employment Monthly Spotlight features Maggie, who has worked at LaRosa’s in Mason for 7 years. Maggie works as a hostess, cashier, and assists with salad preparation. She describes her workplace as being “like family.” She is very happy with her job and plans to continue working at LaRosa’s long-term.

In April 2026, the LaRosa Family Foundation presented Maggie with the Game Changers Award in recognition of her exceptional leadership, selfless support, and inspiring spirit in the community. This award was presented to her at a Mason Baseball game, making it a special event for all who attended.

Anyone who knows Maggie knows that she was officially recognized as the Mason Baseball team’s #1 Fan! She loves supporting them and goes to as many games as she possibly can. Her love of sports extends beyond Mason Baseball. She is also a big Reds and Bengals fan and enjoys cheering them on. Outside of work and baseball games, Maggie enjoys hiking. Her favorite place to hike is the Cincinnati Nature Center, where she loves seeing the birds and flowers. She also enjoys spending time with her parents and boyfriend.

It’s heartwarming to hear about a company that recognizes the impact its employees make, not only in the workplace but also in the community. Maggie is fortunate to have found an employer that values her strong work ethic and community spirit. She truly is a game changer!
