🚦 Happy Crossing Guard Appreciation Day! 🚦

Today we’re celebrating someone who has gone above and beyond for our school community! This year, Ms. Hughes, our librarian, stepped up to fill our vacant crossing guard position—and she has been an absolute superstar helping keep our students safe each morning and afternoon —in some treacherous weather conditions!❤️

To show our appreciation, some of our staff had a little fun dressing up as traffic cones this morning!🦺🟧🚧

Thank you, Mrs. Hughes, for taking on an extra role, being there for our students, and helping our school community in so many ways. We appreciate you more than you know! 💛

🏈 Surprise Visitors at Arrival! 💙

We had some special surprise visitors at arrival this morning! Our Captains were so excited to welcome members of the MJHS Football team and start the day with high-fives, smiles, helping hands, and lots of school spirit!

We are so excited about our partnership with MJHS Athletics! Our Captains look up to the Bears, and we love the opportunity to build connections between our schools. Having a strong partnership with one of our feeder schools is such a wonderful way to encourage leadership, school spirit, and a sense of community.

Thank you to the MJHS athletes for spending your morning with us and being such positive role models for our students! We can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us! 🐻🏈💙
