🇺🇸 “THE EDUCATION OF A SENATOR” 📖

We appreciate former U.S. Senator and former Tennessee Governor Lamar Alexander for recently making a stop at the ATC in Lebanon!

He spoke to over 200 of our high school students about the importance of public service and striving to make a positive impact in those roles.

His new memoir, “The Education of a Senator” takes a deep dive into his political career and his experiences with many presidents, dating back to JFK.

The students, who have interests in U.S. Civics, History, JROTC and are also involved in Youth Government, truly enjoyed their time with the Senator!

Each year, under T.C.A. § 49-3-112, Wilson County Schools must submit a TISA Accountability Report to the Tennessee Department of Education and present the report to the public for review and comment before submission.

Therefore, the district invites parents, educators, and community members to provide feedback on the goals and strategies that are outlined in the plan.

The feedback survey can be found in this link: https://www.wcschools.com/news/news-details/~board/district-announcements/post/district-strategic-plan-feedback

Thank you!
