✨🐯 Get ready, Hattie B. families!🐯✨

Our PTO fundraiser walk-a-thon is right around the corner!

When: Friday, October 30
What: Stokes students will walk 6 laps (approximately 2 miles!) around our school grounds and walking path during school hours.

OUR SCHOOL-WIDE GOAL: $8,000!💰
Every donation helps support our PTO and the fun activities and events we provide for our students, families and teachers throughout the year.

🥇 Highest Donor School-Wide: Ride to school with Officer Miller! 🚓

🍕 Highest Donor Per Grade Level: Pizza party!

🍿 Classroom with the Highest Participation (one per grade level): Extra recess, popsicles OR popcorn!

🎟️ Prize Drawings: Receive 1 entry for every $5 donated when donations are turned in by October 28! More donations mean more chances to win! 🎉

And that’s not all! We have some FUN prizes up for grabs, including goodies from our generous local businesses and some awesome surprises! 🎁

🐅🏃🏻‍♀️ FASTEST CLASS CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS! 🏃🏻‍♀️🐅

A BIG congratulations to Mrs. Wertz’s class for proving they are the FASTEST class at Hattie B. Stokes! 🎉👏🏽 These Tigers put their TEAMWORK to the test and ran the most average laps per student in just 5 minutes during our schoolwide P.E. challenge for grades 1–5!

🏆 Mrs. Wertz’s class gets to keep the FASTEST CLASS TROPHY in their classroom for the next 9 weeks until we take on the challenge again!

Congratulations to our fastest classes by grade level! These classes will have their pictures displayed on the gym wall!

Because our Hattie B. Tigers make good choices each day, they earned a Crazy Hat Day! Last Friday, students celebrated by wearing fun, creative, and silly hats to school. From colorful caps to wild and wacky designs, our Tigers showed off their school spirit in style! 🎉🧢👒

Our K–2 Tigers had an exciting fire safety lesson with the Lebanon Fire Department! ❤️ Students learned important fire safety tips and got an up-close look at the fire truck and all the equipment it carries. A huge thank-you to the Lebanon Fire Department for taking the time to teach our students how to stay safe and for making learning so much fun! 🧯
