The first day of school is August 24, 2026, with some schools staggering the start dates to allow different grade levels to become familiar with the building and staff before all students attend. ** Breakfast served approx. 30 minutes before start time

Hello Lebanon School District Families. Coach Schies will be hosting an open lane workout session for the Lebanon High School Bowling Team beginning tomorrow from 1:00-3:00pm at Palmyra Bowling.

It will every Monday for 6 weeks. June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 27th, August 3rd and August 10th.

This is open to any boys and girls in grades for 4-12 who want to learn how to bowl and those going into 9-12 grade who want to join the team for the 26-27 winter season. (This does include and cyber school students who live in the Lebanon School District.

They will learn how to hold the ball properly, what weight ball best suits them, where to stand on the approach, how many steps they should take, proper movement with their arm and possibly get a Birds Eye view on how the pins are step up after ball is thrown.

They will get to bowl for free each time they come. Transportation must be provided for them.

Happy Retirement, Shelly! ❤️

On behalf of all of us at LIS, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations on your retirement.

Shelly, thank you for being the heart of our cafeteria for so many years. Your dedication, hard work, kindness, and commitment have touched countless lives and helped create a welcoming place for everyone who walked through our doors. You have always gone above and beyond, not only in the work you did but in the care and warmth you shared with coworkers, students, and staff each day.

Your years of service are a testament to your incredible work ethic and the pride you took in everything you did. The positive impact you’ve made will not be forgotten, and the example you’ve set will continue to inspire us.

While we are excited for you as you begin this new chapter, there is no doubt that you will be deeply missed. The cafeteria won’t be the same without your smile, your laughter, and the genuine kindness you brought to work every day.

Thank you for everything you have given to our team and our community. We are so grateful for your years of dedication and service, and we wish you nothing but happiness, good health, relaxation, and wonderful new adventures in retirement.

Not your usual school news, but this sweet pup was found at Lebanon Intermediate School this morning. Our staff gave him lots of love and kept him safe until he was picked up. 🐶

If this is your dog, please contact the Lebanon City Police Department for more information, as they have him now.
