Tessa Ruffo, Ava Padewski, Sophie Gendron, Siena Wales, and Abby Sears had a fantastic performance yesterday at the ECC girls' golf championship. They finished top five (out of 12 teams), and Tessa and Ava finished in the top eight individually. Tessa shot a 46, Ava a 47, Siena a 55, Sophie a 56, and Abby a 73. For a first-year program, that is quite an accomplishment! Way to go ladies!

Elizabeth Bush- Lyman Memorial High School Class of 2026
It is amazing how quickly time passes through the eyes of a parent, yet drags through the eyes of a child. To us it seems like only yesterday you started your school journey at IDCS in Norwich. Life (and COVID) happened and you moved to Fields in Bozrah for 8th grade, and are now finishing up your Senior year at Lyman. How did that 13 year journey happen so quickly? We watched you change from a quiet, yet spunky girl with a unique fashion sense, to the beautiful, mature, caring, responsible woman you have become, and we could not be more proud of you. Through all those years, your infectious laugh and quick wit has never wavered.
You may not have enjoyed all your time in high school, but seeing you discover your love of tennis, and watching you work hard to earn a spot on Varsity Doubles this year made us incredibly proud. We enjoyed watching you play and improve your skills at every game. May you take that drive and passion with you to wherever life takes you in the future.
Before you pull out of the high school parking lot for the last time, take a moment to remember all the things you have done, the good times, the bumps in the road, the laughter and tears. Each of these has contributed to who you are now, but they are only the first chapter in the book of life. June 13th turns the page to a new chapter, those pages have yet to be written, and it is up to only you what is put there. Dream big, and fill those pages with things that make you happy.
Elizabeth will be attending Three Rivers in the fall, working through general studies while she decides what her next step will be
Elizabeth, wherever life takes you, always know that we be here watching with love and unwavering support. We cannot wait to see what happens over the next 13 years.
Love Always,
Mom and Dad
