Last night Taekwondo class was exceptional. We started with a exceptional workshop and started working combinations and then started working on sparring with hands only. Here is a quick video of my student's sparring.

Exciting news!!! Southwest Virginia Martial Arts Academy will be co-hosting The Tri-Cities Open Martial Arts Tournament on Saturday, October 17th in Bristol! Registration opens Monday, August 31st.

The registration link will be posted on the Southwest Virginia Martial Arts Academy page by the 31st of August for pre registration.

We are also still taking sponsorships for the tournament. All sponsors will have their logo on our shirts and tournament banner. Both schools hosting this tournament are small business and we would love to help bring attention to other small businesses in the area. Reach out if you are interested in being a sponsor!
