🌊 Best Buddies Pool Party — Where Everyone Gets a Spotlight! 🌟

What an incredible day in Mr. Carroll's class! Our Best Buddies made a splash today, living out this year's theme: "Best Buddies — The GREATEST Friendships." 💙

From pool noodles to big smiles, today was all about connection, inclusion, and fun. Whether cheering each other on in the water, lending a hand, or just laughing together — everyone belonged, and everyone shone. ✨

Come one, come all — everyone belongs! 🙌

That's exactly what Best Buddies is about, and today's pool day proved it. So proud of this group! 💦❤️

🧡 What is Best Buddies at LHS? 🧡
Best Buddies is all about one thing: friendship. Our club pairs Lebanon High School students with peers who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating one-to-one friendships that last well beyond the school year.
It's not a service project — it's a two-way friendship. Buddies hang out at school, go to club events together, and build connections that make LHS a more inclusive place for everyone.

Today, Mr. Carroll’s class had a blast at the movie theater! Our students got to watch Minions and Monster movie, complete with popcorn, laughs, and lots of smiles. It was such a fun and exciting outing for everyone!

Movie days like this give our students a chance to relax, enjoy some entertainment, and share a great experience together as a group. Nothing beats a big screen, good friends, and a tub of popcorn! 🍬🎥

🏀🏊‍♂️ What a Fun Day at the YMCA! 🏊‍♀️🎉
Today, Mr. Carroll's class had an amazing time at the YMCA! Our students enjoyed playing with balls, swimming, and taking part in fun games. A huge thank you to the wonderful YMCA staff for helping make the day so special and for supporting our Best Buddies and Ed Skills activities!
It's days like these that help our students build confidence, practice new skills, and have a blast while doing it. Swimming, teamwork, and laughter — what more could you ask for? 💙

🎉 What a wonderful first meeting! On Tuesday, our Best Buddies chapter came together for our very first gathering of the year, and it was such a heartwarming start to our friendships! 💛

We spent the time getting to know one another, laughing, and brainstorming fun ideas for our activities throughout the year — one for each month! From seasonal celebrations to game days and community outings, we can’t wait to bring these ideas to life together.
