Former Cincinnati sports reporter Brandon Saho visited Lebanon Junior High School yesterday to speak with our Hope Squad students!

After facing his own mental health battles, Brandon created The Mental Game podcast, where he interviews athletes, musicians, and celebrities to break the stigma around mental health and save lives.

His message aligns perfectly with Hope Squad’s mission of peer support, hope, and connection in our schools. Thank you, Brandon, for sharing your story and inspiring our students!

🎮 ➡️ 🚲 CONGRATS to the September Unplug & Play winners! 🌟

These Bowman Primary School students stepped up and signed the pledge for the Unplug & Play initiative! By swapping screen time for real-world fun, these kids and their families made a conscious choice to be present, build deeper bonds, and discover the joys of hands-on play.

Third-graders in the homerooms of Mr. Courtney and Ms. Francis at Donovan Elementary School had a special opportunity to learn about Lebanon’s rich history, local government, and citizenship from former Lebanon Mayor, Amy Brewer!

The class surprised Ms. Brewer with a special gift - her very own storybook! 📖✨ The book takes students on a journey through Lebanon’s fascinating history while helping them connect the past to the community they know today.

As students prepare for their upcoming Roxaboxen City Council elections in their homerooms, Ms. Brewer answered their questions and shared her experiences serving our community. Our students loved connecting what they’re learning in the classroom to the real-world responsibilities of local government and what it means to be an engaged citizen in our community and a member of the Donovan community.

We are grateful to Ms. Brewer for taking the time to speak with our students and help them understand that their voices, questions, and participation can make a difference! It was a wonderful way to bring civics and local history to life.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS - Pink Out & Youth Night as the Warriors host Milford 🏈 🎀

The Lebanon Warriors (5-1) return home to host the Milford Eagles (1-5) at VanDeGrift Stadium tonight. Lebanon is looking to earn its sixth win of the season for the fourth consecutive year under fifth year coach Micah Faler, a milestone the program has not reached in four straight seasons since 2000-2003.

But Friday night is about much more than football. It is a night when PINK OUT meets YOUTH NIGHT, bringing together Lebanon Athletics, our youth programs, our schools, and our community for a special night at VanDeGrift Stadium.

After wrapping up a unit about volume, students in Mrs. Linsley's fifth grade class at Berry Intermediate were given the task of building a “tank” that would hold exactly 300 goldfish. They were given 25 goldfish to help them estimate and plan their design. When finished, each tank was filled with 300 fish. Groups were able to adjust their original design and build a second tank to test as long as they had mathematical reasoning for the changes they wanted to make. There were lots of excellent math conversations had during this challenge!
