During the 2026 Academic Excellence Day, the newest members of Iota Tau Alpha: Athletic Training Honor Society were inducted by the 2nd year graduating students
🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations to all!!!!

***To be eligible for ITA, athletic training students are required to meet four criteria in order to be invited into this honor society: (1) be enrolled in an athletic training education program where an ITA chapter exists, (2) have completed a set minimum amount of academic work towards an athletic training degree with an earned minimum of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, (3) rank no lower than the highest 35% in class relative to cumulative grade point average, and (4) be in good academic standing in accordance with set program criteria.

Congrats 🎉 to Hailey (Porter) Traub - AT alumna class of 2018 on this year’s McKendree Rising Star Award! 🌟

Rising Stars are McKendree graduates of the past decade who have made significant achievements in their professions or chosen fields, and how have been highly involved with the university or their communities.

Hailey has served as a physician assistant for Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital since 2021, serving in both internal medicine and emergency department roles and providing care to a medically underserved, rural population in east-central Illinois.
