The smoke last week wasn’t ideal, but it did give us a great opportunity to get some training in actual IMC weather. I’ve said it over and over—if your instrument training does not include training in ACTUAL bad weather, you are missing out on crucial training. Find an instructor and a training facility that has the experience to train you in realistic situations.
