School might be out, but we are still here to help! Please take note of our updated operating hours for the summer season:

Southside Office Summer Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Summer Learning Camp Hours: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday through Thursday)

Here is a snapshot of the Wilson County Raiders Football (CO & SES) practice schedule this summer. Current 6-8 graders for the 26-27 school year that want to play should attend as soon as possible with an up to date physical.

And the summer months are the perfect time to get trained and ready to go for next school year!

Here’s some information shared from our Transportation Department on particular needs.

They’re looking for drivers for various routes. If you’re only able to do an AM or PM drive, then that’s fine too. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Starting pay for first-time drivers is $22.38/hour, but more 💵 with previous experience.

Summer training is available! Anyone interested is highly encouraged to apply. If any teachers or staff members are interested, then the Transportation Department would like to connect with you as well to explore if a convenient driving schedule could work out for you too.

This was the best way to end the Talent Show and Last Day of School! SRO Gammons is our Rockstar everyday!

Southside Elementary SRO Gammons and the crew absolutely rocked the last day of school yesterday, sending students into summer break in unforgettable fashion! From music, energy, and smiles to a full-on “rock band” experience, the excitement was impossible to miss.

On behalf of our SRO Division, we want to wish all of our students, faculty and staff a safe and wonderful summer!

Congratulations to these students who received the Perfect Attendance Award from the Wilson County Board of Education. This award recognizes Perfect Attendance for the entire 2025-2026 school year!
