To celebrate the Seniors’ First Last Day, a breakfast is being held before school on August 3rd by the Senior Class Council! 🎉The breakfast will be held at Memorial Park at the large shelter.

The breakfast will start at 7:15 and end at 7:40. Food and drinks will be provided. If you would like to sign-up to bring items, the link is below. ⬇️

INCOMING FRESHMEN ‼️

LHS Ambassadors is hosting Freshmen Field Day for any incoming freshman on August 1st from 2-4pm.

There will be games, booths to better know LHS, door prizes, icecream, and more! Each freshmen will receive a free Tiger Pride t-shirt. 🐅

The Class of 2025 Council is hosting a Back to School Breakfast to kickstart the beginning of the year!

It starts at 7:15 when the doors open and will end at 7:50. This year their breakfast is in Community Room 2.

Student Council members competed in the annual Almost Anything Goes! They took home first place with their amazing team work! 🥇They were able to work together to strategize game plans, as well as communicate with eachother! We are so proud of all of them. 🫶

To start off, President, Addison Hand, took first place playing musical chairs with ice buckets! 🧊

Their communication skills were on point during a game where members had to be blindfolded! Applause to member, Owen Bigler, for finishing first in drinking the sparking water to give the team a headstart!

Secretary, Audrey Patterson, taught the teammates how to shuck corn 🌽 in record time to speed through one of the games! ⏱️

Vice President, Jayce Klingler, took us home with leapfrogging and ring tossing with hula hoops!

Lastly, as a tribute to America 🇺🇸, members built a cake on Reporter, Breanna Stratton’s, head to take home the victory! 🎂

For starters, thank you to everyone who came out last Friday and supported LHS’s Student Council. This is one of the biggest events we’ve put on in a few years, and we are so happy it was a hit! Our sponsors did help, Emily Wolfgang and Kendra Whipkey, but the applause goes to our students for doing most of the work. 👏👏President, Addison Hand, worked hard to make sure the event had everything that was needed, as well as her family. Thank you so much Jeff and Sherri Randel for providing us with the cotton candy machine that citizens loved and the generous donation. 💚

Along with the Randel Family’s donation, The Refuge Coffee made a donation and provided us with their delicious drinks to sell!

As for the face painting, it was a hit! 🎨 So many kids were excited to pick their designs as well as some parents! Thank you to student council members for volunteering to face paint!

The Co****le Tournament was a success! We know that our community loves co****le, and we were happy that it went well! Students Joe Susong and Cooper Ford fought to the end as Team “Ricky Bobby” and won first place. 🥇

Lastly, thank you to Jake O’Rourke from Bus Stop Bistro and Chick-fil-a for coming out and serving food!
