CHILDREN'S CHOIR AT ST. MICHAEL
Our parish children’s choir, the SAINT MICHAEL CHORISTERS, draws its membership mainly from our parish school, rehearsing three mornings a week before school. Children of the parish attending public schools or who are home schooled are warmly welcomed to participate.

Primarily a treble-voice choir, the Choristers are comprised of boys and girls in Grades 4 through 8.

The choir sings weekly for Friday morning all-school Mass, at the Sunday 10:30 Mass once or twice a month, for Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day, and other special events throughout the year.
Rehearsals begin September 1.

For more information and to register, visit: stmichaelcp.org/child-parish-choir-registration or contact Dr. Kevin Vogt at (913) 402-3946.

DO YOU LOVE TO SING? THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU IN OUR PARISH CHOIR!
The SAINT MICHAEL CHOIR is looking for adults and high school youth to volunteer for the 2026-2027 choral season!

The choir sings at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass, as well as Solemnities, Feasts, and other special events throughout the year.

Prior choir experience is not required, but the ability to read music is a great asset. Most important, however, is the desire to learn and to commit to a regular liturgical schedule and weekly rehearsals. The choir practices on Thursday evenings, and rehearsals begin August 27.

SUNDAY LAUDS (Morning Prayer)
Sunday, June 28 at 8:30 a.m. (20 minutes)
in the Choir Chapel (loft)
All are welcome. Plan to arrive in the choir loft by 8:25 a.m.
Members of the Saint Michael Choir will help to lead and support us in this beautiful liturgical prayer of psalms and canticles from sacred scripture.
Lauds is one of the daily prayer services that make up the Liturgy of the Hours, also known as The Divine Office, the Daily Prayer of the Church, and the Opus Dei (the "Work of God"). Like the Eucharist (Mass) and the Sacraments, the Liturgy of the Hours is the work of the Risen Christ himself, and eternal sacrifice of praise to his Father and intercession for the life of the world, united with his Church by the power of the Holy Spirit.
