💙✨ Growing Together, Learning Together! ✨ Our Kansas team came together for Professional Development Day, and what a wonderful day of learning, connection, and collaboration! 🌟

We spent time deepening our understanding of Conscious Discipline, exploring ways to strengthen connections with children and support their social-emotional development. We also made time for team bonding, laughter, and celebrating the amazing people who make our schools such special places to learn and grow!

💛 At New Horizon Academy, we believe that when we invest in our educators, we invest in the children and families we serve. We loved celebrating the growing families in our center with a special Baby Shower! 🤍👶

Families enjoyed a card-decorating station for big brothers and sisters, binkie holder decorating, and even a fun round of “The Price Is Right: Baby Edition!” 🎉🍼

Our infant program is fully enrolled through 2027, and more than half of those little ones are part of families already enrolled at our center. It means so much to us that as families grow, they continue choosing NHA Leawood as their school family. 💛

We were proud to stand alongside fellow early childhood leaders to advocate for policies that support children, families, and the dedicated professionals who make quality childcare possible every day.

Access to safe, high-quality early education is not just a family issue, it is workforce infrastructure and a vital investment in our communities.

Yesterday, our Kansas Directors had the privilege of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City. We prepared and served a warm meal of chili, cornbread, and sweet treats for the families staying there.

The Bernstein House, which opened on September 19, 1988, provides a home-like setting for families while their children receive medical care. With 19 bedrooms, an outdoor playground, and a Sporting KC–themed basement, it offers comfort, support, and relief during challenging times. Renamed on its 30th anniversary, the house honors Dr. Phyliss and Bob Bernstein and their family for their lasting impact on the community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and support families in such a meaningful way. 💛
