Scrivner's Creative Center School- art & music classes for children ages 2-18, private music lessons, and craft workshops. Our mission is to foster a love of learning in each student.

Scrivner's recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. Students learn to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and to work both independently and cooperatively with others. We celebrate diversity and strive to instill integrity, compassion and confidence in each child. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self. We strive to ensure that every participant will have a positive experience and possibly discover a new path of lifelong enjoyment!

Hear ye! Hear ye!

The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is hiring some jolly good souls to join their ranks! Whether you fancy serving up grub, selling wares, operating attractions, dashing around with tankards or lending a hand around the shire, you are wanted! In other words, there are positions available in food service, merchandise sales, game/ride operations as well as a need for patron experience aides.

Those interested can apply online at kcrenfest.com/employment, stop by the office or attend one of two job fairs:

Job Fair Dates: Saturday, July 27, 2024 or Sunday, August 4, 2024
Time: 10am – 2pm
Location: Kansas City Renaissance Festival office

Does your child know your phone number?
I mean from memory, not in their phone or I-pad. I realized about a week ago many children and some teens do not know their parents phone number. This to me was frightening. What if they are lost and lose their phone? What if they are abducted? What if someone takes their phone and they need to call for help using someone else's phone?
I understand we live in a different time then when I was a child, but this is so important. I ask that starting today you make sure your child knows at least one parent's phone number from memory.

Are you planning to on coming to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival on September 23rd or 24th?
If you are consider donating to a great cause! The Kansas City Renaissance Festival will work with us again this year with our annual Stuff The Bus event from 9 am - 4 pm!
All items donated will be provided to students in the USD 204 - Bonner Springs and Edwardsville.

If you are planning on coming and do not have a ticket, don't fret, if you donate at least 3 items on the list you will receive $5 off 1 regularly priced adult ticket! We will have volunteers, from 9 am - 4 pm, at both Kings and Queens Gates and busses at the gates for your items to be delivered.
