It's been a little while but I thought I would share some really big encouragement to you all in where I have had the pleasure of working with folks who have trusted my insights on credit and how to get their scores to improve with the steps and work necessary.

They started back around fall of 2024, but at that time, we paid off some debts and I shared with them about how to keep their use low and to keep working toward their goals. The husband had a FICO of 571 and the wife's FICO was a 453. Most recently, they have applied for a commercial loan and his score has increased to 743 and the wife's score to a 625. The work does really happen. The biggest part of it all is TIME and effort on your part!

The best way to take control of not overspending is making a plan and sticking to it! Know what deals are really deals and what is overinflated pricing just trying to gimmick you to buy.

Truth be told that not all Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are the best you'll find. Sometimes the best pricing happens weeks after closer we get to Christmas. Be wise!
