The day is here! I now have my temporary permit and can start daycare as soon as my roster is filled!!

There are currently:
7 openings for children 18 months and up
3 openings for children over 5 yrs old

Little Lu's Child Care is located in Leavenworth Kansas and will be open Monday through Thursday from 7am-5pm and Fridays 7am-4pm and accepting ages 18 months and up!

My name is Laura and I am 22 years old. I’ve been working with children since I was young, around 8 years old, and that led to babysitting and being a nanny in my home town for many years, as well as a teachers aid for 4 years. I love to see kids grow and develop and have decided to take that love and open my home to little ones. I am currently in the process to become a licensed in-home child care provider but have begun advertising early. As long as my license goes smoothly I plan to open between May and June of 2023. I will be offering a daily rate as well as part time and full time care.

At Little Lu's Child Care there will be between 7 and 10 kids in my care at most times. I will provide a fun, loving and safe environment for all kids to grow, play and develop. Kids will have a schedule to adjust to and will learn through play, music, crafts, science, and adventures! Each child will be given developmental activities appropriate for their age level. Our home is not far from many different parks so we will enjoy a lot of outdoor time during the summer and even picnic days. There are a variety of toys and learning materials for all kids including, reading for all ages, construction, art, sensory, and engagement activities.
