I love our Saturday center reset time. My kids (without realizing they are doing it) teach me what is needed in our classrooms. As I sit back and give them the freedom to create it reminds me to let go of adult expectations we put on children and allow them the freedom to be innovative in their own unique ways

I don’t share my kids on social media anymore and this is kind of risky sharing this, so I won’t be tagging anyone specifically, however… I feel like this should be shared. Yesterday Phoenix got off of the bus and was having a meltdown due to his schedule being changed ( it was a half day, and he is very schedule oriented) I was in the middle of serving my kids( the ones in my classroom) lunch and having a hard time balancing my job and my instinct to console my child. My boss stepped in and immediately scooped him up to take him outside to comfort him and deescalate him. Giving me the freedom to continue to do my job and the peace of mind knowing that he was being properly handled during a time that he was particularly vulnerable. My point is… childcare ,truly is a calling. You’re either called to do it or you aren’t ( there is nothing wrong with that) and I am so blessed to be able to have my kids being accommodated and provided for by someone who is truly called to this field of work. You know me, I don’t trust my kids with anybody… but I trust them with her and that is absolutely priceless. That being said…. We ARE hiring. And if childcare is your calling please reach out to me to inquire about a position. We love our kids here, and if this doesn’t show you how far we would go for these kids… I don’t know what will.

Do you revel in the look on a child's face when they accomplish something or overcome an obstacle? Do you have any experience in the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy? Do you truly understand what child led really means? At Little Love's Childcare Center we meet the expectations of the children. We are looking for a full time teaching position and if you answered yes to the above questions, we would love to talk with you.

Starting pay is $14-15 per hr depending on experience with bonus incentives.

Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Child Care / Daycare Teacher
Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
Methodical and creative
Patience, flexibility and love for children
Strong communication and time management skills
Certificate in first aid and CPR

These videos really express what we strive for in regards to the community amongst our littles. You are going to see problem solving, teamwork, kindness and conflict resolution. Children are way more capable than what we give them credit for.

Last week was definitely in my top 3 favs since opening the center. We have opened up our outdoor classroom for our Little Explorers! We eat outside, sleep outside and most importantly PLAY!! I'm determined for us to soak up as much sun as we possibly can before winter hits.
