LEANDER FILM FESTIVAL
Why we are highlighting it. Events like this bring visitors into Leander who eat at our restaurants, shop our businesses, and spend money in our city. Texas Senate Bill 22 now commits $300 million every two years to film production through 2035, a $1.5 billion investment statewide. Communities that establish a film presence early are the ones production companies come looking at first. Leander getting in front of that is a win for Leander.

Year one is in November. Support it, show up for it, and let’s see what it grows into.

Voters there approved a new direction on density, affordability, and council compensation. Whether you supported those choices or not, the ripple effects are heading Leander's way.
