🎓🐾 Today we celebrated a very special milestone for our amazing 5th graders at the Hisle Elementary Crossing Over Ceremony!

Our Hisle Hounds took one more step across the bridge toward bright futures ahead, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them. 💙

From classrooms filled with memories to exciting new adventures waiting in middle school, today was a reminder that once a Hound, always a Hound.

From the beautiful balloon displays to the incredible stage decor and event setup, every detail helped create such a memorable celebration for our Hisle Hounds and their families. 🎓✨

We’re excited to celebrate an amazing school year with our students and families! 💙

Our 5th graders will kick off the festivities on Friday, May 29th with their special clap out at 7:45 AM, followed by their end-of-year celebration on the playground & field from 8:00–10:00 AM. Fifth graders should wear their new 5th grade shirts!

Classroom parties will also take place throughout the day for all grade levels. Families, please be sure to check in at the front office before heading to your child’s classroom.

FIELD DAY is coming soon! May 22nd (Friday)

We’d love your help to make the day fun and successful for our students. There are several volunteer opportunities available, including cutting the tops off popsicles, supervising chalk or bubble stations, and getting coffee from the food truck to teachers.

☕️ Help Us Treat Our Amazing Hisle Teachers & Staff! 💙

Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck is coming to Donald Lewis Hisle Elementary on May 22nd from 8:30–10:30 AM!

We’re raising donations to provide drinks for our incredible teachers and staff while also supporting our school. 🎉

When you click the link and select “Place Your Order,” you’ll have the option to donate in $5 increments toward teacher drinks. Every contribution helps!

⭐ Our goal is approximately $450, which would provide a drink for the entire Hisle staff!

Families are also welcome to purchase their own drinks directly from the truck on May 22nd between 8:30–10:30 AM. Please note that priority service will be given to staff members who preordered.

🚚 The truck will be set up outside near the Field Day activities and will be there rain or shine!

Our kindergarten students are excited to share a few songs to celebrate a successful year! Kindergarten families are invited to join, and we were able to acquire 100 chairs! Chairs can be challenging to locate in May since there are many May events!

Due to the assembly being during the school day for our students to enjoy, each child may have two adults attend the assembly!

Families will be required to RSVP by Friday, May 8th to allow the show to begin on time! The link to RSVP is in Parent Square! Please be sure to bring your state ID to help with ease of signing in!

Thursday was a wild one for Teacher Appreciation Week! 🦁✨
Our Lion King-themed day rolled through campus with a traveling cart full of DIY animal cracker trail mix, refreshing drinks, and lots of smiles for our incredible teachers and staff.

Thank you for everything you do to lead, love, and support our students each day — we’re so grateful for the pride you bring to our school family! 💛🧡🦒
