Apparently my kids think I don’t know how to have a normal day off. 😭😂

5K at 5 AM ✅
Cold plunge at Barton Springs ✅
Deep-cleaned the daycare carpets ✅

And yes… they roasted me the entire time. 😂

Tell me I’m not the only one! Do you actually REST on your day off, or do you somehow turn it into a full workday too?

Ladies…what possessed me? 😭😂

I got up at 3:40 this morning to get ready for a 5 AM 5K in Austin.

Ran the 5K. ✅

Then decided the logical next step was a cold plunge at Barton Springs. 🥶

And now I’m headed home to deep clean the daycare carpets.

Apparently this is what I call a day off. 😂

Please tell me I’m not crazy. 😭😂

Please tell me… are you an “up at 5 AM getting things DONE” woman or a “do not speak to me before 9” woman?

Tiny humans vs. the aquarium: the aquarium never stood a chance 😂🐠 Every tank came with a brand-new facial expression, a dramatic reaction, and at least one “WHOA!” 😂💙

Starbucks for the energy, Austin Aquarium for the adventure, Chick-fil-A for lunch, and the playground to burn it all off! ☕🐠🍟😂💛

Such a beautiful Friday with my little daycare gang and Grandma Emy. We laughed, explored, fed the birds, and made the sweetest memories together. I’ve definitely missed our field trip days! 🥹💕
