Fire Safety Week at Leakey ISD! 🚒🔥

A huge shoutout to our Leakey Volunteer Fire Department for coming to school this week and teaching our students how to stay safe!

From learning about the truck, the equipment they use and the protective gear they wear. Our Eagles had so much fun while learning. Thank you for your time, your dedication, and for keeping our community safe 365 days a year.

We appreciate you! ❤️

🦅 All Pro Dad: What You May Have Missed!

Our latest All Pro Dad meeting focused on Taking the Initiative! 💪

We kicked things off with a fun activity using playing cards spread across the table to see who would take the initiative to organize them without being asked. We then watched a short video and discussed what it means to take initiative and why it is important in our everyday lives.

The students shared examples of times they had taken initiative on their own, showing us that leadership often starts with taking that first step without being told! We wrapped up our meeting with snacks and a fun challenge of building houses out of index cards. 🏠

Overall, we had a wonderful time learning, sharing, and building character together! We are so proud of our students and the positive choices they are learning to make.

📅 Mark Your Calendars!
Our next All Pro Dad meeting will be November 10th from 4:30–5:30 PM, and our topic will be Thankfulness! 🙏

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we continue encouraging our students to grow into kind, responsible, and respectful leaders! ❤️🦅
