Even though summer has already started, we still want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Volunteer of the Year! 💙🐾

A huge congratulations to our very own Melissa Willhoft Thomas, who was honored at the Volunteer of the Year Breakfast! From lending a helping hand wherever needed to always showing up for our students, staff, and Panther community, Melissa truly goes above and beyond.

We are so thankful for everything she does for Victory Lakes and our PTA. Congratulations, Melissa, and thank you for all the time, heart, and dedication you pour into our school! 🎉💐

And that’s a wrap on the 2025–2026 VLI PTA board year! 💙🐾

What an incredible year it has been. This amazing team has put in countless hours for our school, our students, our teachers, and our Panther community. From events and celebrations to supporting staff and students all year long, so much hard work and heart went into making this year special.

A huge thank you to our PTA board and committee members for everything you’ve done. (Missing a few peeps from our farewell pic! 📸) As some move on to high school and others continue with us next year, we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

We hope everyone has an amazing summer, and we can’t wait to see you again in the fall! ☀️

But first… the PTA has one last hurrah for our 8th grade class on the last day of school, Thursday, May 21st! 🎉 See you then!

🎉💛 What an incredible way to wrap up Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week at Victory Lakes! 🌺🐾

We are beyond grateful for the many amazing community members, families, and local businesses who helped make the last day of appreciation week extra special for our teachers and staff by donating gift cards, swag, prizes, and goodies. Your generosity and support helped us celebrate the incredible educators and staff members who do so much for our students every single day! 🌟

One of the highlights of the day was getting to play a little Plinko for prizes — and it was SO much fun! 🎯🎁 There were lots of laughs, excitement, and smiles as teachers and staff had the chance to win some awesome surprises throughout the day.

This entire week was filled with love, appreciation, treats, and fun, and we could not have done it without our wonderful Panther community coming together to help spoil our amazing staff. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, supported, and helped make this week unforgettable! 💛

🍬🥤🍿 The Victory Lakes PTA loved getting to surprise our amazing teachers and staff with even more treats during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 💛🌺

We wanted to make sure all their cravings and worries were taken care of — thirsty, salty, and sweet! From drinks and snacks to candy and goodies, it was so much fun getting to spoil the incredible people who do so much for our students every single day. 🌟

Seeing the smiles around campus all week long has been the best part of celebrating our teachers and staff. They deserve all the appreciation for the hard work, love, patience, and dedication they pour into our Panthers each and every day! 🐾

We also loved giving everyone these adorable tropical drink koozies to help keep their drinks cold while adding a little extra fun and sunshine to their day! 🦩🦄☀️

🥯 A huge THANK YOU to Einstein Bros. Bagels and Panera Bread for supplying delicious bagels for our teachers and staff bagel buffet, and to H-E-B. for providing the yogurt for our yogurt parfaits during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week! 🍓🫐

Our staff loved starting their day with such a fun and tasty breakfast treat, and we are so grateful for the generosity and support from these amazing community partners. Your kindness helped us make our teachers and staff feel extra appreciated this week! 🌟

🍽️💛 A huge THANK YOU to Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux for providing an amazing lunch for our incredible teachers and staff during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week!

Our educators and staff work so hard every single day for our students, and we are so grateful to community partners like Walk-On’s who helped us make them feel celebrated and appreciated this week. The delicious lunch was such a wonderful treat and enjoyed by so many across campus! 🌟
