This kind of food has been around for thousands of years…
And that tells me something.
It works.
Levantine cuisine isn’t trendy — it’s timeless.
Simple ingredients, balanced flavors, real nourishment.
And when we eat this way, our bodies feel it.
Calmer. Clearer. More grounded.
Maybe we don’t need more “new" food (usually fake) or FRANKEN food, maybe we need more of what has always worked. 💫
Keep in mind that what worked before, like wheat, which is a Levantine staple, no longer works for several reasons, mainly, seed manipulation and glyphosate.
(See link below where the effects of wheat are clearly explained . I share this to bring awareness -- not to make anyone wrong for eating wheat!)

Words are powerful… more than we think. And they shape our beliefs which in turn, shape our reality (and NOT the other way around).
When we say “Middle Eastern food,” we’re actually grouping together so many different cultures and histories.
What I teach is more specifically Levantine cuisine — and once I understood that, it changed how I see the food entirely.
And honestly, it made me reflect on life too.
When we’re clear — in what we say, what we eat, and how we live — everything feels more aligned.
Less confusion.
More intention.
And the body loves less confusion and intentionality!
This also shows up everywhere… especially in how we connect with others. 💫

I’ve been calling it the wrong thing…
For years, I’ve said “Middle Eastern cuisine.” And while that’s not wrong, it’s not the full story.
I’ve been doing some deeper research, and what I’ve discovered is that much of what I teach is actually Levantine cuisine — rooted in the Eastern Mediterranean and thousands of years old.
And it made me think… how often do we do this in life?
We simplify. We group things together.
But when we slow down and really understand something, everything shifts — how we eat, how we think, how we show up.
Food has a way of bringing us back to truth.
And maybe that’s the bigger lesson…when we honor where things come from, we honor each other too. 💫

Sometimes the difference between eating well and giving up is one delicious meal you know how to make well.
This is why cooking skills matter. They save money, lower stress, reduce last-minute food decisions, and when you know what to buy, are a lot healthier for your health and your family’s.
This is why I believe that teaching people how to make simple, flavorful meals is one of the most practical things we can do for health. This is why I have cooking classes, and host the Golden Nourish Collective bi monthly meetings.
I am up to teaching people how to eat delicious and healthy, low inflammatory, low cost food.
A little confidence in the kitchen goes a long way. What is your favorite easy to make food?

Food is never just food.
Food carries memory, culture, geography, family, and comfort. That is one reason I do not believe health should feel sterile or disconnected from tradition.
And that is why I embrace tradition, in particular, Middle Eastern food, which is rich in many ways, and delicious.
When people can bring flavor, story, and meaning back into the kitchen, healthy eating often becomes more natural and more sustainable. It stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like a way of caring for themselves and others.
And people find true JOY in cooking and nourishing their body.
That is the kind of wellness I am passionate about and stand for — real, flavorful, and full of life.

Most people do not need another lecture about food. They need someone to show them how to make it taste good.
Healthy eating becomes much easier when people learn simple ways to create flavor. A good spice blend, a bright sauce, fresh herbs, a squeeze of citrus, or the right cooking method can completely change how someone feels about “healthy food.”
And this is precisely what I specialize in. Good food can taste so good, that you don't (and won't) want anything else!
This is why I love teaching food the way I do. Not just what to eat, but how to bring it to life.
Because once healthy food becomes delicious, people stop feeling deprived. And when they stop feeling deprived, they are more likely to keep going.
And keep being healthy!

Let’s be honest — if healthy food is bland, dry, and sad, most people are not coming back for seconds.
I believe one of the reasons people struggle to stay on track is not because they are lazy, but because so much “healthy food” is joyless. And who wants to live like that? (I for one DON'T!)
Flavor matters. Spices matter. Aroma matters. Color matters. Pleasure matters. When food tastes beautiful, people are far more likely to keep eating in a way that supports their health.
That is one of the reasons I love creating meals that are nourishing, deeply satisfying, and full of life. Healthy eating should feel like care, not punishment.

A lot of people are interested in health.
Fewer are committed.
Interested people save recipes they never make.
Committed people start with just one meal.
Interested people keep looking for the perfect plan.
Committed people begin with what they have.
Interested people wait for the right mood.
Committed people say, “This matters too much to keep postponing.”
No shame here. Just truth.
If your health has felt stuck, maybe the question is not whether you care. Maybe the question is whether you have moved from interest into commitment.
That shift changes everything.

Your body responds to patterns, not good intentions.
That one can sting a little.
We can mean well all day long. We can buy the healthy groceries, save the recipes, and watch the wellness videos. But if our feelings keep making the final decision, our patterns stay the same.
Commitment is not harsh. It is loving structure.
It says, “I am going to create patterns that support my energy, my peace, and my healing.”
That may mean simpler meals.
More protein.
Less sugar.
Better ingredients.
Less chaos.
More consistency.
You do not have to be intense. You do have to be honest.
What pattern do you know needs to change?
