Do you want to learn how to do your own maintenance on your outboard. We are offering a class on how to service your lower unit. The following will be part of the class
1. Remove prop and thrust washer to inspect for fishing line.
2. Remove lower unit
3. Replace water pump impeller with service kit
4. Re assemble lower unit to outboard
5. Drain and replace lower unit fluid.

The price of the course does not include the parts required for your particular motor. However we will provide you the list of tools and parts and suggest vendors for you to order parts from. We offer a weekend Rules of the Road course to educate boaters about the Navigation Rules. Even if you have been on the water your entire life, this deep dive into the International and Inland Rules, will utterly amaze you at what you don’t know about navigating right here in Galveston Bay.
