Our VEX V5 middle school robotics team 1383A is headed to St. Louis this weekend to compete at the World Championship in the ARTS Division! 🌎🤖
They’ll be facing teams from around the globe, and we couldn’t be prouder to represent VLI at the highest level of competition!

Victory Lakes Robotics Team 1383A has had an amazing season - winning two awards and gearing up to travel to the VEX Robotics World's Competition in April.

Team 1383A won their first award, the Amaze award, at the Space City League tournament. The Amaze award recognizes a team with a consistently high-performing and competitive robot. It is a judged award that evaluates both on-field performance and the team's technical understanding.

During the Texas Region 3 Championship, Team 1383A won the Create Award. The Create award recognizes a team that utilizes a highly creative, unique, or ambitious engineering design solution to solve the season's game challenge. It highlights teams with innovative, non-standard approaches to robot design, rather than just the most efficient one. Winning requires a strong Engineering Notebook and a great interview.

With this last award, Team 1383A has qualified for the highest level of competition and will be traveling to St. Louis to compete with teams from around the World.
