Our campus will have a two-hour early release on May 21.

Today was such a special moment at Lobit! 💙🐊
DHS graduating seniors returned to where it all began to participate in the Senior Walk through the halls of Lobit. Our students and staff cheered them on as they walked proudly through the campus that helped shape their journey.

We are so proud of these seniors and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish next! Once a Gator, always a Gator! 🎓✨

First Grade GT cluster classes dove deep into animal research!!!

“Over the last few weeks we have focused on all of the aspects in a non fiction/informational book. We then got to write our own.

We spent time creating dioramas to show where the animals live and what that habitat looks like.

We then extended our thinking by posing an important question- what would our animals do if their resources ran out?

Our students stepped into presentation mode and showed off their knowledge on their animals for our guests.”

What an INCREDIBLE Career Day for our 4th and 5th grade Gators today!

Our students had an amazing time learning about so many exciting careers and hearing firsthand from professionals in our community. The energy, engagement, and excitement throughout the day were unforgettable!

A HUGE thank you to Ms. Weatherspoon and Mr. Esparza for putting together such a fantastic event for our students. We are also so grateful to all of the incredible community members who volunteered their time to inspire, encourage, and invest in our Gators’ futures.

Today was filled with big dreams, great conversations, and lots of inspiration for what’s ahead. Thank you for helping make Career Day at Lobit Elementary so special! 💙🐊❤️
