💙🩵 Blue Day — and we were anything BUT blue! 🩵💙

We wrapped up Color Week today with BLUE, and there were definitely no blues around here! 💙 From colorful outfits to hands-on learning, our students ended the week with plenty of smiles, curiosity, and fun!

⚖️ Our 4th graders put their science skills to work by measuring mass using both balance and digital scales.

🎯 Our 1st graders were shaking things up with some target practice! Students shook containers filled with 10 red and yellow counters, then determined how many of each color they had to make 10. 🔴🟡 What a fun way to build number sense!

Color Week may be over, but these kiddos keep our school colorful every single day. 🌈💙 We loved celebrating with them all week long!

🍬 Division was sweet in Mrs. Tackaberry’s 3rd grade class! Students used Skittles instead of traditional counters to model division problems. They practiced making equal groups, thinking about how many Skittles would be in each group, and connecting their hands-on models to division equations.
