This little girl was so creative and joyful! Her ability to pretend and her interest in socializing made her sessions dynamic and fun. The one area where she needed the most support was her arousal.

We had a successful in-service today. So thankful for the team we have; they are all full of love and heart for what they do. Looking forward to our training tomorrow with Bloom Developmental Center!

Most graduate programs aren’t specifically teaching about autism within a discipline, much less on how to support their parents.

It takes knowing how to meet the parents where they are, understanding yourself and helping the parents reflect on their parenting.

In all seriousness, don’t be afraid to have a boundary even if it upsets the child. This is how they build social awareness and resilience!

In all seriousness, play is a regulator for your autistic child. It can quickly support behaviors and development. Focus on connection and channel the inner child in you!

So many people message me telling me about their dream to open a place or do something different. I say, go for it!

If I would have given up after that church asked us to leave, you wouldn’t be watching my therapy videos today.

In life you will make many mistakes and following your dream is really hard. Keep walking, learn from your mistakes, and never, ever give up!
