Several of our Creek Band students kicked off their summer by participating in the Galveston Summer Youth Symphony Camp! 🎶

Throughout the week, they worked alongside talented musicians from across the area, sharpened their skills, and performed an outstanding concert at Moody Methodist Church featuring works such as Slavonic Dance No. 8 by Dvořák, Finlandia by Sibelius, and the powerful finale from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.

🥁🔥 Registration Is Now Open for the 2026 Clear Creek Marching Percussion Preview! 🔥🥁

The 2026 Clear Creek Marching Percussion Preview is set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Clear Creek High School, and we’re excited to welcome percussion programs from across Texas for a day of performance, feedback, and growth.

This event features:
🎵 Evaluation and feedback from current DCI educators
🎵 A clinic experience built into each ensemble’s performance slot
🎵 Audio/video recordings and performance photography
🎵 Awards and recognition by classification
🎵 Prizes for top-performing ensembles
🎵 A planned food truck park for students, staff, and spectators

Classification Options
• Small School Classification (1A–4A)
• Large School Regional Class (5A/6A)
• Large School Open Class (5A/6A)

Registration: $375 per ensemble
Spectator Admission: $5
Kids 12 & under: Free
CCISD Students & Staff: Free with ID

Happy National Band Director Day!

We are so thankful for our directors who show up for our kids every single day. The long rehearsals, early mornings, late nights, bus rides, pep talks, patience, and heart you pour into this program mean more than words can say.

A reminder that tomorrow, May 21, is an early release day for all campuses for the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Monday, May 25, is also a staff holiday for Memorial Day.

Today was our first time having the full band together since Megaband, and it was so exciting seeing everyone back together again, including our incoming freshmen. 💙💜
