💚 It’s a Family Thing at Mossman Elementary!

Yesterday morning, CCEF had the joy of celebrating Leader in Me at Mossman Elementary alongside the Doyle Family, whose commitment to education truly is a family affair!

Education is truly a family value for the Doyles. Their commitment to our students is also reflected in Sean’s service on the CCEF Board of Directors, and we are grateful for the many ways their family continues to support CCEF and CCISD.

Their sponsorship of Leader in Me at Mossman Elementary is helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, take responsibility and develop leadership skills that will serve them in the classroom and far beyond.

Have an innovative science fair idea? Don’t let funding stand in the way of bringing it to life! CCEF Science Fair Grants are available for up to $500 to help our secondary students turn their research, experiments and prototypes into reality.

⏰ DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 2, 2026
Grants can support:
✓ Student-led science fair projects
✓ Ideas across science, technology, engineering and more
✓ Requests of up to $500 (every item included on a public Amazon Wish List)

A LEGACY OF SUPPORT AT STEWART ELEMENTARY!💙
Some partnerships go far beyond a single program, they are built through years of showing up, giving back and believing in our students.

This morning, we were excited to celebrate Leader in Me at Stewart Elementary alongside two longtime friends and supporters of CCEF, Carl and Colene Joiner.

For years, Carl and Colene have been incredible champions of CCEF, Clear Creek ISD and Stewart Elementary, continually investing their time, generosity and hearts into creating opportunities for students and educators. Their sponsorship of Leader in Me at Stewart is another beautiful example of that commitment. Through Leader in Me, students are building confidence, discovering their strengths and learning the leadership skills that will help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.

CCEF was proud to honor Krista Skytland under the Big Top at our Annual Benefit — celebrating a CCISD alumna who continues to make an incredible impact right here in the district she once called home.

As a dedicated CCISD educator and innovator, Krista is always looking for ways to take learning to the “next level,” creating meaningful opportunities and experiences that inspire students to think bigger, explore new possibilities and embrace what’s next.

🎉 CELEBRATING LEADERSHIP WITH THE FALCON PASS VOYAGERS! 🎉

What a wonderful morning celebrating Leader in Me at Falcon Pass Elementary! Through Leader in Me, our Falcon Pass Voyagers are learning that leadership isn’t just a title, it’s about making good choices, taking responsibility, setting goals, working together and recognizing the greatness in themselves and others. These are skills that will serve our students far beyond the classroom.

A very special THANK YOU to Barrios Technology and CEO Kelly Page, who is generously sponsoring the Leader in Me program at Falcon Pass in honor of Sandy Johnson. Their support is helping our Voyagers discover their strengths, find their voices and grow into confident leaders - at school, at home and throughout our community.

CCEF was truly honored to celebrate Lisa Polansky, our 2026 CCISD Citizen of the Year, at The Greatest Show in Education Annual Benefit on Saturday! Through countless hours of volunteer service, leadership, and mentorship, Lisa has made a lasting impact across CCISD.

We also want to give a very special thank you to C3 Productions, Harry So, and Amber Pecsenye for working their magic and helping us beautifully capture and share Lisa’s incredible story.

🎪 Behind every great show is an even greater crew! 🎪

A HUGE thank you to David and Manny with facility maintenance for all their help before and after our Annual Benefit! From moving countless items to POST Houston to getting everything safely back into storage and the ESC, these two were there every step of the way.

Thank you both for your hard work, your time, and for always being there when CCEF needs you. We appreciate you more than you know!
